Helpful Tips For Your Call
/ Be Short and Concise
Stick to the key facts and main issues. This makes it easier for both sides to understand the situation quickly.

/ Clarify the Goal of the Call
Before you start, clearly state what you hope to accomplish (e.g., getting an update, asking a question, or resolving an issue). This keeps the call focused and efficient.
/ Be Organized
Have all relevant notes or documents ready to refer to before the call. This helps the conversation stay on track and ensures you don't forget important details.
/ Don't Upload Confidential Documents
Avoid sharing any personal, private, or sensitive information, this service is merely to educate you on your CPS rights.
/ Remember — This Call Is Guidance Only, Not Legal Representation
This consultation is meant to give you clarity, answer your questions, and help you understand what’s happening in your CPS case. It does not create an attorney-client relationship, and we don’t provide follow-up work, document preparation, or case representation as part of this call.
Our goal is simply to empower you with the information you need to take your next steps with confidence.
About the Attorney
Leesa Webster is a California attorney dedicated to defending and empowering families involved in the child welfare system. Her path to the law was unconventional—she spent 15 years waiting tables while raising her three sons and pursuing her goal of becoming an attorney, attending Cal Northern School of Law three nights per week.
Encouraged by a friend and driven by a belief in timing and opportunity, Leesa enrolled in law school without traditional prerequisites, passed the Baby Bar, and later passed the California Bar Exam on her first attempt. Her journey from service industry to courtroom advocacy continues to shape the empathy, resilience, and work ethic she brings to every case.
A former foster youth in Shasta County, Leesa understands the fear, instability, and long-term impact of the child welfare system. That lived experience fuels her commitment to representing parents with dignity and compassion. Before founding her firm, she served as the Outreach Coordinator for the Northern Division of California Youth Connection (CYC), helping former foster youth advocate for legislative reform.
For more than a decade, Leesa has served as court-appointed counsel in Shasta, Modoc, and Lassen Counties, representing parents, children, grandparents, and de facto parents in all stages of juvenile dependency proceedings. As both an attorney and a mother, she understands the challenges, pressures, and profound rewards of parenting—and brings that perspective into her representation.
She believes every parent deserves a fair chance to rebuild, reunify, and write a new chapter for their family.
